Unlike foam which must form and maintain a perfect blanket to separate the fire from the oxygen, the F500-EA Spherical Micelle technology encapsulates fuel and vapours on a molecular level rendering them non-ignitable. This makes F500-EA the perfect solution for three dimensional fires.

F-500 EA interrupts the free radical chain reaction of the fire tetrahedron. This interruption results in greater visibility, reduced smoke and soot and most importantly a drastic reduction in toxins. F500-EA encapsulating agent is not a foam, so it contains no fluorine ingredients, such as perfluoro-octyl sulfonate (PFOS). F-500 EA is 100% biodegradable and is nonhazardous.

F500-EA shelf life is 15 years, and it can be used in refillable premixed water-based extinguishers of various capacities, and 20L or 1,000L F500-EA concentrate drums for any approved delivery system.
